Good morning/afternoon all. I’m praying everyone is having an awesome day. It is 30°here in Michigan and snowy. Hmm, add to that my normal routine is very messed up, well, not messed up, just changed. I don’t do change very well, so I’m thanking God to help me through this.

I hope everybody is taking advantage of their current stay home order, wherever you are, and in whatever way you’re able/considering taking advantage of it. I’m unlike lots of people with children, teens mainly. My teens are 16yrs old and 14 1/2yrs old. They’re at that stage where, they come hang out with Mom when they want to, or when they are bored. It bothers lots of parents that have children, to have them home, all the time. Not me, they do their schoolwork, and they’re chores, help me out with stuff when I’m not able to, and they slip into their Chromebooks and books.

That’s how I take advantage of this craziness, I enjoy my kids as much as I can now, giving them freedom to be they’re own person, intruding when we as parents see fit, and be as attentive as I can, as often as I can so they know they can always come to me with anything. Whether they truly do or not is totally up to them.
