Realization

Good evening/almost morning all. This week has been exciting to say the least. Between getting things scheduled and straightened out for hubby’s appointments, our house, etc, phew, thank you Jesus you’ve gotten me thru another week.

Spent the morning at home, having church, getting cleaned up to have lunch at Mom’s. Went and spent a bit of time in the cemetery where my father in law and hubby’s grandparents and other family members are buried and really got to thinking, I was starting to realize when I was in my teens, but more so since having my kids, and now and upcoming grandbaby. Realization set in, I didn’t get a chance while raising my children, to put together anything of our family history to save for my kids, even though now, none of them are to that point of acknowledging how many things changed over the years, things that our elders still remember, thankfully, things I pray, that my grandchildren will wonder and be curious to know.

I then thought, that through all my planners, calenders, and journals, I’m trying to leave enough for my kids and grandbabies, to learn about or world, our life when we were younger, when their parents were growing up, to the best of my ability.

I’m needing to get to sleep, so I will leave saying this, as your around family, friends, etc, during this covid-19/Coronavirus pandemic and quarantine, as the ones your around start telling you about things that they lived through in their teens, twenties, thirties, etc, remember it, journal it, keepsake it. You never realize how much you may at a later date, want to reminisce or pass on to your grands, or even great grands.

I pray blessings over you all tonight. Will be back to chat later. 🥰🙏
