Today is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it

Good morning lovely people. Here in Michigan, at least where I’m at, it is in between raining and clear. I’ve had one test done today, in waiting on the other. Invisible, chronic illnesses are not for the faint of heart.

I’ve dealt with invisible chronic illnesses for a long time and they suck. Today, I’m special, I’m blessed with having two i.v.’s. I just wanted to jump in, say hello, I’m still alive and kicking and to share something today that has already been comfort to my family.

Pray Confidently to God

King David faced difficulties and was threatened by many wicked oppressors. Without help and hope in the situation, David turned to God and prayed “But You, O Lord…” He used “But” to turn the hopeless situation to hope, from helplessness to confidence because he knew God is greater than his problem. David prayed confidently that God is his shield to protect him and God is his provider to give him glory. When David has no one to lift him up, God encourages him.

Prayer: Father Lord, we declare that you are our shield and our provider. In all circumstances we are facing, Holy Spirit, help build up our sense of security in You alone. In Jesus’ Name

One hour before my other test, two i.v.’s that are tender. I’ll update again later. Have a blessed day today.
